Windows7 Pro "trial version"
This term we are giving our 1st year students a new laptop, 2000 approx.
I need a "Win7 Pro" image to send to the supplier, they image the laptops and dispatch them to us.
We would then activate the laptops through a KMS svr.
Is this scenario possible with regards to the product keys?

Hello,
Do you have a VL agreement?
the VL Pro image defaults to using the KMS client key, so when those machines were attached to your network, they would attempt to locate the KMS host and activate. Thanks, Darrell Gorter [MSFT] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Hello,
So I would use your VL image with the default KMS setup key and let the supplier install that image. Since the VL image comes with the default KMS Setup key already in it, those machines will KMS activate when they find your KMS host machineThanks, Darrell Gorter [MSFT] This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
